FINSILK

Finsilk represents a pioneering bio-material development by Made by J. Nudd. This project showcases an innovative process that utilises fish gelatine to create fully compostable materials, such as their 100% compostable lampshades.
This bio-regional design not only offers a sustainable alternative but also ethically supports the local fishing industry by valorising a previously underutilised resource, demonstrating a future-facing approach to environmental responsibility.
